CALGARY- Members of the Wildrose Opposition will unveil Danielle Smith’s successor on Monday afternoon.

Former Wildrose leader Danielle Smith and eight other MLA’s left the Wildrose party on December 17th and joined the PC government.

The decision outraged many Albertans and led some to petition for recall legislation that would allow Smith to be removed as the MLA for the riding of Highwood.

The Wildrose Party will announce its new interim leader at their south caucus office in Calgary on Monday at 1 p.m.

The party will also speak about what’s next for the Wildrose.
