Police are investigating a fatal collision in South Surrey Saturday morning.
A man was struck at 7:30 a.m. while crossing 176 St. near 8 Ave. First responders performed CPR at the scene, but the victim did not survive.

It was raining at the time of the crash, but it is unclear what role, if any, weather played in the incident. The victim may have also been jaywalking. The driver remained at the scene and is said to be cooperating with police.
176 Ave. was closed to traffic, but has since re-opened.
