Surrey RCMP releases surveillance video in an alleged arson

WATCH: Video of the alleged arson

Surrey RCMP has released surveillance footage of two suspects involved in an apparent arson this summer with the hopes of getting the public’s help in identifying the pair.

Mounties were only recently able to get the video footage, which allegedly shows two suspects setting fire to a home in the 10200-block of 143A Street at 1 a.m. on July 15.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

When police arrived on the scene, the home was completely engulfed and fire crews were battling the flames. No one was in the home at the time of the fire.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP.
