KELOWNA – It feels a lot like Costco Friday at the Salvation Army Community Church in Kelowna.
So says Sally Ann spokesperson Geri Grainger as the organization hands out 500 Christmas food hampers to needy families.

That’s 50 more hampers than last year. Each contains more than 20 food items including a turkey.
Every family also gets a toy hamper.
Grainger says 240 volunteers are helping with the busy distribution.
