KELOWNA — The Okanagan man sentenced to life in prison for the murder of an Armstrong teen has pleaded guilty in connection with two other attacks.
Matthew Foerster, 28, is serving a 25 year sentence for the 2011 halloween night murder of Taylor Van Diest. He’s appealing his conviction.
Foerster, dressed in an orange prison shirt with short dark hair and glasses, pleaded guilty Wednesday in connection with a 2004 home invasion in Cherryville where he broke into a home and attacked a woman.
He also pled guilty to attacking a sex trade worker at the Garden of Eden in Kelowna in 2005.
He’s been sentenced to six years for both attacks which will be served concurrently with his 25 year sentence for the Van Diest murder.
Foerster’s father was charged and convicted for being an accessory to the Van Diest killing and was sentenced to three years in prison.
