Wetaskiwin RCMP investigating another suspected arson and bomb threat

EDMONTON – Investigators believe a fire was deliberately set at a store in Wetaskiwin over the weekend.

Police and firefighters were called to the Mega Pawn shop in Wetaskiwin, which was engulfed in flames when they arrived.

Emergency crews also discovered a device on a road that looked like a possible explosive. The RCMP explosive disposal unit examined the device and found it wasn’t an explosive.
