WINNIPEG – Winnipeg Police Service’s bomb unit removed dangerous chemicals from the University of Manitoba’s Notre Dame Avenue campus Friday night.
The unit was called by someone working at the university, when they noticed the chemical was beginning to crystallize and was concerned over the stability of the product.

The bomb squad removed all chemicals, which ended at 2 A.M. Saturday morning.
The chemicals were safety removed without any injuries. Police say there were no charges in this incident.
