School bus cancellations and public transportation delays for Dec. 11

TORONTO – The snowfall  in the Greater Toronto Area has resulted in several school bus cancellations or delays Thursday morning.

Below is a list of delays and cancellations:

School bus:

Toronto District School Board: No bus cancellations today and all schools remain open.

Toronto Catholic District School Board: No bus cancellations today and all schools remain open.

Peel District School Board: Bus service cancelled today and all schools remain open.

Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board: Bus service cancelled today and all schools remain open.

York Region District School Board: School bus and taxi service cancelled but schools open.

York Catholic District School Board: Bus service cancelled but all schools remain open.

Durham Catholic and Durham District School Boards: School bus service cancelled in Zone 1 (Brock), Zone 2 (Uxbridge), Zone 3 (Scugog Area) for both school boards.

Simcoe County District School Board: Buses cancelled in South Zone including Alliston, Beeton, Bradford, Cookstown & Tottenham.

Trillium Lakelands District School Board: All buses to schools in Muskoka and City of Kawartha Lakes have been cancelled.

TTC:

No major delays on TTC routes.

GO Transit:

GO Train service is running normally but bus service is running 45 minutes late.

Passengers are advised to leave extra time for their commute with possible rail service delays due to the weather.

Pearson International Airport:

As of 6:30 a.m., 81 flights have been cancelled. Passengers are reminded to check with their airline before arriving at the airport.
