This holiday season, thousands of Nova Scotians will reach out to a local food bank for support. At 6:45 we’ll talk to Feed Nova Scotia Executive Director Nick Jennery about ways we can help ensure every family has food in their time of need and can enjoy the warmth and comforts of Christmas.

We’ll tell you about a new film that looks at the tensions at Cole Harbour high school in the 1980s. Local filmmaker and Cole Harbour high graduate, Floyd Kane drops by the red table at 7:15 to tell us about the project and how he hopes it accurately recreates those tense times in the community.

Starting at dusk on December 16th, members of our Jewish community will be celebrating Hannukah. At 7:45 we welcome Judith Goldberg to the red table to tell us more about some of the traditions associated with the eight days and nights of this Jewish holiday.
