A teenager from Maryland faces multiple charges after sharing his pot brownie with an unsuspecting teacher during school hours Monday.
According to the Capital Gazette, the 17-year-old student allegedly brought the pot-laced brown to his school, Broadneck High School in Annapolis, to share with his girlfriend. He allegedly offered a piece to a teacher, who ate some and immediately began to feel ill and became disoriented. She was brought to the school nurse’s office.
A school nurse also checked the student and his girlfriend, and found them to be safe.
In a letter to parents, school principal David Smith said “the student admitted to giving the teacher the brownie and knowing it contained marijuana.”
Police say the student has been charged with juvenile counts of administering a dangerous substance, assault and reckless endangerment.
