REGINA – Two house fires in the Queen City kept fire crews busy on Monday night.

The first fire broke out just before 7 p.m. Crews were called to the 5300 block of 7th Avenue North. Fire crews say it started in the attic and an electrical inspector will be out on Tuesday to have a closer look.

The second fire call came two hours later on the 900 block of Garnet Street.

Nobody was home at the time and the Regina Fire Department is calling the fire suspicious.

There is no estimate on damage and the inspector will be back out today.

Fire crews say both blazes were minor and no one was injured.
