HALIFAX – Police ticketed one male driver and are searching for another after two pedestrian-vehicle collisions in Halifax.
Around 5 p.m. on Saturday, a 21-year-old man was crossing Main Avenue at Dunbrack Street when he was struck in the crosswalk.
The driver of the vehicle stopped briefly but left the scene.
The pedestrian was not seriously injured.
Police are now searching for the vehicle, which is described as a gray PT cruiser being driven by an elderly white man. The vehicle was last seen going eastbound on Main Avenue.
Then at 8:50 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Lacewood Drive and Fairfax Drive.
A 16-year-old boy was traveling southbound on Fairfax when he was struck by a 38-year-old man turning left onto Lacewood.
The pedestrian received minor injuries.
The driver was issued a ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
