WATCH: Police are investigating how a woman became trapped under a TTC bus at York University Friday.
TORONTO – Toronto Firefighters used blocks to lift up a TTC bus Friday in order to save a woman who was trapped for nearly a half hour.

The woman is conscious and breathing but the extent of her injuries is not known. She was taken to hospital shortly before 2 p.m. after being saved from underneath the bus.
The incident happened at shortly after 1:15 p.m near the York University campus.
It’s not clear whether the woman is a student at the university.
