WATCH: Pirate ship for sale in California

If there is anyone looking to live out their buccaneering fantasies, well then, this sale might just be for you.

The Sultana, a replica pirate ship of a brigantine from the 1700s, is now on sale in Brisbane, California.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Built by Captain Al Karsevar from 1979 to the mid-80s, the ship was constructed from an already made ship hull. According to Karsevar’s sister, it took the Captain so long to build because many curious onlookers would stop him to ask questions.

Once complete, the Sultana hosted kids’ birthdays and private parties. It even boasted a volunteer crew of 40 and housed Karsevar’s daughter Alice until she was six-years-old.

After 20 years of sitting in the Brisbane Marina, the ship has been listed for sale on Craigslist for $50,000.
