London-based Canadian label Erdem has scored a hat trick at the British Fashion Awards. Montreal-born designer Erdem Moralioglu earned his third consecutive win at the annual awards ceremony organized by the British Fashion Council.

Moralioglu nabbed womenswear designer of the year honours at the prestigious event held at the London Coliseum on Monday.

The award recognizes a leading British ready-to-wear designer who has helped to enhance women’s fashion in the past year.

Moralioglu won the Red Carpet Award at the ceremony last year, which recognizes a British designer who is creating global awareness of their designs in the media.

In 2012, he took home the New Establishment Award, an honour that recognized a particular movement in British fashion that is taking the industry by storm.
