At home or away, the venue doesn’t matter much for the Canucks these days.

Five separate Canucks scored in a 5-0 drubbing of the Columbus Blue Jackets, the team’s third straight victory.

Ryan Miller made 30 saves for his 29th career shutout, while Chris Higgins, Henrik Sedin, Shawn Matthias, Brad Richardson and Alexandre Burrows all scored for Vancouver.

The Canucks are now 16-6-1 in the regular season, tied for first in the Pacific Division. Their 16 wins also tied them with the Montreal Canadiens for most in the NHL.

It was the first of seven road games in 12 games for the Canucks, a stretch many observers believe will go a long way in proving whether the team’s hot start is a harbinger for the rest of the season.

With the loss, Columbus moves to 6-14-2 on the year, last in the Metropolitan Division.
