The CP Holiday train rolls into Montreal West

MONTREAL WEST- The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train rolled into Montreal West Thursday night.

The Montreal west train station was packed with families waiting for the special train. The cold didn’t stop the more than 600 people waiting for the party to begin.

“You’re never too old for the Christmas spirit,” 19 year old Montreal West resident Corey Walsh said.

The train then made its way to the Beaconsfield train station to entertain the crowds there. After leaving Quebec, the CP holiday train will make its way to 150 communities across North America raising money and collecting donations of non-perishable food.

“It’s a very magical train,” explained CP Spokesperson Salem Woodrow. “The CP Holiday Train program pegs itself as the longest rolling fundraising program in North America. We’re here to raise money, food and awareness.”
