A 23-year-old Burnaby man has been charged in connection to Vancouver’s first homicide of 2014.
Kenneth Bryson Williams is in police custody and is charged with second-degree murder, accused of killing 28-year-old Robert Tyson Smith.
On February 9, Smith was in a taxi on Granville and West Georgia Street when he got into an argument with a person on the street. The argument escalated into a fight before Smith was stabbed.

Smith was found unconscious on the sidewalk by police and later died from his injuries.
