Elderly woman dies after car crashes into building

TORONTO – An elderly woman died Thursday after the car she was in crashed into the back of a building on College Street.

The accident happened on College Street near Manning Avenue shortly after 2:30 p.m.

It’s not clear what caused the car to crash.

The 94-year-old woman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Two other men, believed to be in their 60s, were also in the car at the time. They both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
