KELOWNA — Sections of Kelowna’s Mission Creek Greenway also felt the brunt of this week’s snowstorm.
Some of the trees and branches simply couldn’t handle the extra weight from the wet snow and collapsed.
The Regional District says the damage was isolated to certain areas of the Greenway.
Crews were out knocking snow off branches Wednesday to save some of the trees from breaking.
Anyone who plans on using the Greenway this weekend is reminded to take extra caution.
