VERNON, B.C. – Vernon RCMP say gun shots were fired in the 2900 block of 43rd Avenue Tuesday morning. Spokesperson Gord Molendyk says at around 12:40 a.m. emergency crews were called to a report of a gunshot being fired.
“Upon attendance our officers confirmed that a gun had been fired and that nobody was injured. Our officers conducted patrols and spoke to people in the area,” says Molendyk.
He says officers are continuing their investigation into the incident. RCMP ask anyone who might have seen anything suspicious or heard what sounded like a gun shot in the early hours of this morning to contact them.
