TORONTO – Photos released by the St. Louis County Prosecutor’s Office late Monday show Ferguson, Mo. police officer Darren Wilson in the days following the fatal shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown.
One set of images shows Wilson with a bruise on his cheek roughly two inches long. The corner of his lip is also slightly swollen.
Another image shows Wilson wearing a St. Louis Blues t-shirt, with the bruising on his cheek and lip absent.
The photos were released following the announcement by a grand jury not to indict Wilson in the shooting death of 18-year-old Brown.
St. Louis Prosecutor Bob McCulloch said his office would release all the information that appeared before a grand jury if Wilson was acquitted.
