MONTREAL – Comedian Sugar Sammy may be making waves with his new ad campaign, but did you know these five fun facts about one of our funniest local stars?
1. His ideal comfort food is poutine and ice-cream.
“Separately…or together on the same plate, whatever,” he said laughing.
2. He collects hate-mail.
And he’s not afraid to poke fun at himself when it comes to politics.
3. His favourite Montreal moment was when the Habs won the Stanley Cup in 1986.
“I was only 10 years old but I was still like ‘yeah!'” he told Global News.
4. He loves fall!
“For the colours and the amazing fall fashion,” he said.
5. His biggest accomplishment is moving out of his parents’ house – without them getting mad.
“I moved out in August,” he told Global News. “But I’m still just five minutes away.”
