A high risk sex offender is scheduled to be in court today to face charges related to an alleged sexual assault at the Surrey Pre-trial Centre.
Jeffrey Allan Goddard is accused of committing the assault and uttering threats. Surrey RCMP say on Oct. 4 they received a complaint of a sex assault and after a two-week investigation charges were approved by Crown.

Police aren’t revealing any details about the alleged victim.
Goddard was in custody at the time for breaching his conditions.
He has a history of child luring and has used social media to lure his victims.
He has posed as a police officer, a member of a band and a landscaper to get near both male and female victims, usually between 12 and 17 years old.
