The man was walking along the shoulder of Lougheed Highway last night in the 34000 block when he was hit and thrown into a ditch, along with small pieces of debris from the vehicle.

Mission RCMP aren’t sure what sort of vehicle it was, or what exact time it happened, but are hoping the driver comes forward.

A two-kilometre stretch of the highway was closed in both directions, but has since reopened.
