Halifax – A young Nova Scotia man is dead, and another behind bars following a fatal motor vehicle accident Friday evening in Enfield, N.S.
At 10:32 p.m., East Hants District RCMP, Emergency Health Services and the local Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of crash on Renfrew road, in Enfield. RCMP say the vehicle left the roadway, flipped on its side and landed in a ditch.

The driver, a 22-year-old man from Enfield, was not injured. He was arrested for Impaired Driving Causing Death and remains in police custody.
A 21-year-old man from Enfield, who was a passenger in the vehicle at the time, passed away at the scene.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
