EDMONTON — A Red Deer couple is facing several charges after RCMP found what appears to be a cocaine conversion lab in the family’s Lancaster Green home earlier this month.

RCMP found two young children in the home during their Nov. 4 search. The kids have since been removed. In addition to drug and firearms charges, their parents face one charge of causing a child to become drug-endangered.

During their search, investigators discovered more that $60,000 worth of drugs and seized the following:

  • 415 grams of powder cocaine;
  • 82 grams of crack cocaine;
  • 76 grams of methamphetamine;
  • 72 grams of marijuana;
  • a Winchester rifle;
  • $40,000 cash proceeds of crime;
  • A Toyota Tundra truck and Honda sedan.

The parents are not being identified to protect their children’s identities.
