TORONTO – Iconic Canadian singer Anne Murray lambasted the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night, asking on Twitter whether there was any “good” hockey on television.

The Maple Leafs, who were trying to have a comeback game after falling 6-2 to the Buffalo Sabres, were embarrassed at the Air Canada Centre, losing 9-2 to the Nashville Predators.

It’s not the first time Murray has lampooned the struggling Leafs: She tweeted she wishes “the Leafs were better” on Oct. 25 as they lost 4-1 to the Boston Bruins.

Murray doesn’t just hate on the Leafs, however. Her last tweet prior to Tuesday night’s, was sent on Nov. 12 when the Leafs beat the Bruins 6-1.

The Montreal Canadiens were also playing Tuesday night and lost 4-0 to the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets – the other two Canadian teams playing – won their respective games.
