ARMSTRONG — A homeless man is facing charges in connection with a bizarre incident that ended with the stabbing of another man who was apparently trying to be a Good Samaritan.
The incident happened Friday in Spallucheen where a 36-year-old man had asked the homeless man to his house for a hot shower, meal and a place to stay for the night.
After a few drinks, the host kicked the homeless man out of his house because he refused to go to bed.
The victim was then allegedly stabbed in the stomach by his unwanted guest who was arrested shortly afterwards.
He’s charged with aggravated assault.
The victim is in hospital where he’s expected to recover.
