NEAR PEACHLAND — RCMP have released more information dealing with a fatal single vehicle crash on the Connector.
It happened Saturday shortly before 2 p.m between Brenda Mines and the Pennask Summit where a pick-up truck over an embankment — killing the passenger.
Police say the 62-year-old passenger was from Peachland and that he died at the scene.
The driver was a 50-year-old woman who was airlifted to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The name of the deceased is being withheld as police try to notify next of kin.
The area where the crash occurred is known for black ice.
