The non-profit organization is hosting a Girls Dance Music Video program that aims to encourage teen girls to take part in a project that challenges racism and how women are portrayed in music videos. The event will be hosted at the Uniacke Centre for Community Development and will celebrate music and dance while encouraging a sense of empowerment.

Business is budding in Truro as plans move forward to build a state-of-the-art Medical Marijuana growing facility. At 7:15 we’ll be joined by Evan Price, the man at the head of The Truro Herbal Company, to give us an update on how things are progressing.

at 7:45 we’ll talk with a researcher at Dalhousie who is working to help Nova Scotia Christmas tree producers grow trees that will hold their needles for months! The agriculture school recently signed a funding and research agreement with the SMART Christmas Tree Research Co-operative.
