WINNIPEG – The city’s landscape transformed overnight.
In just a few hours, flurries covered the streets in a sheet of white.
About 2 centimeters of snow fell Sunday, creating a slippery surface on local roads.
According to Environment Canada, winds were blowing at over 60 km/h all afternoon. At 1:00 p.m. winds were gusting at 66 km/h from the north making the -8 temperature feel like -20.
The city’s rivers were also covered in a blanket of snow. There is a chance of flurries continuing Sunday night.
