DARTMOUTH – A Dartmouth man was arrested over the weekend after attempting to break into a home while the resident was asleep inside.
Halifax Regional Police say they responded to a report of a break and enter just before 8 a.m. on Saturday morning in the 0-100 block of Albro Lake Road.
A man had been seen forcing open the door of a residence. A woman was inside the home at the time but was not injured during the incident.
Officers found a man matching the suspect’s description nearby and arrested him.
The 42-year-old man will remain in custody until his court appearance on Monday at Dartmouth Provincial Court.
