Early morning shooting in Delta

Police in Delta are investigating an early morning shooting in a residential neighbourhood that has sent one man to hospital.

Officers responded to the 11400 block of 92nd Avenue for a report of a male who had been shot on the roadway in front of a home.

The 24-year-old victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police do not have anyone in custody at this time but they say the suspects may have fled in a black SUV.
