Woman charged in death of cyclist on Manitoba highway

WINNIPEG – R-C-M-P have laid two charges in the death of a Toronto cyclist who was killed when he was hit from behind in western Manitoba.

Graeme Loader, who was 24, was pedalling across Canada to raise money for the World Wildlife Fund when he died September 1st in a collision with a sport utility vehicle just west of Brandon.

Mounties say Jodi Bone, a 28-year-old resident of Manitoba’s Sioux Valley First Nation, is charged with dangerous driving causing death and careless driving causing death.

She will be in court December 18th.
