More parking at Kelowna General Hospital

KELOWNA — Parking has been a long time problem for patients and visitors at Kelowna General Hospital. But now there’s a bit of relief with a new parking lot across from the emergency department.

The new lot contains 42 public pay parking stalls, costing $1.50 an hour (with a four hour limit.)

“The new lot will help to alleviate pressures on the neighbourhood from those parking on neighbourhood streets,” says Lisa Braman with Interior Health.

The new lot is open for both the public and Interior Health employees.
