VANCOUVER – There were huge delays on Highway 1 in Langley Monday morning due to separate accidents.
A car went into the ditch eastbound at 248 Street at about 7:30 a.m. The victim had to be airlifted to hospital and their condition is unknown at this time.
Then at about 8 a.m. four cars collided westbound on Highway 1, just east of 248 Street. The occupants of those cars suffered minor injuries.
Drivers were delayed both east and westbound and were advised to take Fraser Highway instead. Westbound traffic was backed up as far as Abbotsford and eastbound traffic was backed up to 200 Street.
