A four-bedroom character house in Vancouver for a dollar? And people said real estate is out of control in Vancouver. But of course there’s a catch, the new owner would have to remove the house from the lot at their own expense.

Posted on Craigslist, the advertisement says the home needs to be removed from its Dunbar location because the lot is slated for redevelopment. Along with giving the home a little TLC, the new owner would need to arrange the removal and transportation of the 1820 sq.-ft home.
Need a house for your farm, island property or just need a house, the ad says, then the two-storey wood frame home complete with natural gas can be all yours.
This isn’t first time a home has been listed for a dollar in B.C. In January two heritage homes were listed for a dollar each in Boston Bar. The only thing required before moving in, was some serious renovations.
