HALIFAX – Public consultations are scheduled to begin next Thursday as the Nova Scotia government prepares to introduce legislation in the spring of 2016 aimed at eliminating barriers for people with physical limitations.

Community Services Minister Joanne Bernard says an advisory panel will conduct 11 community consultations in 10 locations from Nov. 13 to Dec. 5.
People who want to provide comments on an online discussion paper will be able to do so through an online survey.
The feedback will be the basis of the advisory panel’s report to the minister.
