Calgary police have charged two people after seizing a cache of cocaine and an assortment of other drugs along with weapons and ammunition.

Acting on a tip, police launched a month-long investigation that led them to a rental car and home in the 100 block of 13 Avenue S.W.

They found almost a kilo and a half of cocaine with an estimated street value of almost $150,000, along with smaller amounts of marijuana, ecstasy, LSD and GHB.

“It’s kind of unusual to to have that variety and quantity of drugs,” said Staff Sgt. Tom Hanson. “This is clearly an organized crime group.”

Hanson compared the residence to a ‘party drug pharmacy.’

Officers also seized handguns, ammunition and $35,000 in cash.

Eric Feuerhelm, 32, faces 20 charges including seven counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
