SASKATOON – A woman was sent to a Saskatoon hospital Monday morning after her car rolled off an overpass on Highway 12 just north of Saskatoon.

Martensville RCMP say she lost control of her northbound Ford Focus while attempting to pass a large vehicle around 7:50 a.m.

The car then rolled down the embankment before coming to a rest.

Mounties say there was fresh snow and slush on the highway but have not yet determined if that was a factor in the rollover.

The woman was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
