TORONTO – The majority of Ontarians are concerned about Ebola but believe the province is prepared to deal with a potential outbreak, according to a new poll.

A survey conducted by Mainstreet Technologies shows 72 per cent of respondents are very or extremely worried about Ebola affecting them and their families.

However, 75 per cent replied that Ontario is prepared to handle the outbreak.

“No doubt, Ebola is a terrible and terrifying disease that can infect anyone, regardless of age and health, but the fear it has caused is surprisingly high,” said Mainstreet Technologies President, Quito Maggi, in a media release.
