The statement comes after Canadian actor Lucy DeCoutere, author Reva Seth, and seven other women accused Ghomeshi of assaulting them sexually and physically.
None of the women have filed a complaint with the police.
His publicist, Rock-it Promotions, announced on Twitter Thursday afternoon they were dropping Ghomeshi as well.
Ghomeshi has not responded to repeated calls for comment from Global News but did release a short statement on Facebook Thursday morning saying he would “meet the allegations directly.”
