RCMP have a section of Minoru Road in Richmond closed this afternoon after an elderly pedestrian was hit and seriously injured by a vehicle.
The elderly victim of the crash suffered critical injuries and has been rushed to hospital, according to Richmond RCMP.

Minoru Rd. is closed near Alderbridge Way while police investigate the scene. It is unknown how long the road will be closed.
The Integrated Collision Analyst Reconstruction Team has been called to investigate.
