TORONTO – Comedian and apparent fan of Rob Ford, Jimmy Kimmel, mocked a distraught Doug Ford supporter on his late-night show who was caught on video comparing John Tory’s win to “ISIS coming to Toronto.”
Kimmel introduced the video clip Tuesday night by telling his audience the “devoted” volunteer took Ford’s loss hard.
“I’m horrified, it’s like ISIS coming to Toronto, that’s how bad it is,” the crying woman said in the short video clip.
“This is why you should never talk politics after you have your wisdom teeth removed,” Kimmel said. “Our prayers tonight…go to that woman’s husband.”
Kimmel also appeared mildly worried that Rob Ford was no longer mayor. He acknowledged the mayor plans to seek re-election in 2018 but said he wasn’t sure he could wait that long.
