Man charged after alleged indecent act

WINDSOR, N.S. – Police in Nova Scotia say a 63-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly exposed himself to a child.

RCMP say the man allegedly attempted to lure the child into a room where he was working on Wednesday evening in Windsor.

Police say when the child refused, the man pulled down his pants.

Investigators say Garrett Frederick Smith was later arrested at his home in Windsor.

He’s facing charges including performing an indecent act and invitation to sexual touching.

Smith is scheduled to appear in Windsor provincial court on Dec. 2.
