Okanagan Forecast: Weekend Showers with Breaks in Between

Weather update: Friday October 24th 5pm

A weather system will track just to the south of the region and bring showers to the area this weekend.

The warm front associated with this system will cross our region very early Saturday morning with showers, but then we will get a brief break from the showers before the cold front crosses the region during the second half of the day.

On Sunday we will be we will continue to see showers in the morning, but when the system exits east on Sunday afternoon, we will see a gradual drying trend.

By Monday we will be once again be in between weather systems, and the sun will return to start off the work week.

If you are planning to travel on the highways this weekend, drive during the day to avoid poor weather conditions. There is the potential for wet flurries on higher mountain passes in the overnights and early morning hours.
