TORONTO – A 9-year-old girl called her parents out in an adorable letter after she was tired of the lies about the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus — and the Easter Bunny, too.
Reddit user willsanderson posted a photo of a letter his daughter left for him after she recently lost a tooth, telling him she’s done with folkloric figures.
“I’m sorry if this is hard for you, but I’m nine now,” Lexi wrote.
In the pencil-written letter, Lexi explains she knows who’s behind the money drops, the chocolate drops, and even the gift drops at Christmas.
“I don’t believe in the Tooth Fairy any more. I know it’s you who gets the money and puts it under my pillow, mom and dad,” she explained. “I don’t believe in Santa Claus either.”
Lexi signs the letter with love, adding:
“P.S. Daddy, I knew it was you last Easter, hiding my Easter eggs!”
