Highway 3 crash southwest of Winnipeg kills 1 man

WINNIPEG – A man was killed in a crash between Oak Bluff and Sanford on Highway 3 in Manitoba on Wednesday afternoon.

A semi-trailer truck and a car crashed at about 2 p.m., RCMP said in a news release.

A man in his late 20s was killed, reports from the scene indicated.

There were delays in both directions following the crash and drivers were urged to avoid the area. It’s expected the road will remain closed into the evening.
