Thursday on The Morning News we’ll have all the latest on the situation in Ottawa, starting with reaction from right here at home. Military members in Halifax watched the situation unfold in Ottawa closely on Wednesday and now we’ll find out how they’re coping a day later.

At 6:45 we’ll have a discussion about Neptune’s latest production “Mending Fences”. Written by Canadian playwright Norm Foster, the play tells the story of Harry, a Saskatchewan rancher and his son, Daniel, who are reunited at the family’s prairie farmhouse after being separated for thirteen years. @neptunetheatre

We’re turning our eyes to the skies tomorrow at 7:15. Canada’s favourite weather expert David Phillips joins us with a look at the East Coast’s best weather stories of the past year. We’ll also get some insight into the winter season ahead straight from Environment Canada’s Senior Climatologist.  @environmentca

Testicular cancer survivor Mark McIntyre will streak across the country in his Stanfield’s undies. @streakweek
